Top Ten Online Dating Rules

Yes, there is such thing as Online Dating Rules. And these ten rules are just some of the many others that should NOT be ignored.

Rule #10: Online dating is for people who are looking for friendship, companion, romance or casual sex. Thou shall not be jealous when the person you’re “dating” with online is also seeing ten other ladies, especially if you haven’t tied the relationship yet.
Rule #9: Don’t expect too much from internet dating, but don’t lose hope. If you are patience and are really serious in finding romance, you will surely find someone real and honest that will truly love you.
Rule #8: Do not write a 500-word non sense in your profile. Always remember to keep everything short but to the point. BUT, avoid one liner also. No one wants to read a long profile or a one liner.
Rule #7: Do not; I repeat, DO NOT flood the other person with message after message. Whether it is the same message or a new and different message, sending messages after a message isn’t very acceptable. Only spammers do that.
Rule #6: Be careful with your spelling and grammar; it counts. And also, dO NoT tYpE LiKE tHiS. It isn’t appropriate and funny.
Rule #5: Do not assume that the other person likes you already when he or she isn’t even messaging you for the second time. The only way you can really tell if the person is interested is when he or she finds way to track you down immediately and keeps on showing up.
Rule #4: Do not believe everything you see or read. The other person may be so sweet with you online, but in truth, he or she just likes talking to you. Nothing more and nothing less… So beware!
Rule #3: There are a lot of totally free dating sites out there, but spending some penny on paid dating site isn’t so bad after all. Paid online dating sites offer better services, plus, it is guaranteed that you will surely find someone that will match your interests.
Rule #2: Just like in the traditional dating, online dating and chat room also has its own proper etiquette. You may not be able to view the other person’s face, but everyone should still practice the word ‘respect’ in chat rooms. Plus, always remember that “If you ain’t got nothing nice to say, just shut the f*ck up!”
Rule #1: Everyone who is very familiar with online dating is surely aware that everyone lies on the internet. But if you are someone who is serious in finding your future romance online, being true and honest is a major factor.

Online Dating will be a more exciting frontier only if these ten rules are being followed by everyone. With everyone doing so, surely Internet Dating will be easy and fun as everyone wants it to be.
