Men FashionSo you’ve successfully asked a hot girl out on a date? Well kudos for you my man! You must want to make everything perfect for the first date. And where do you start? Well with what you wear of course! Of course, looking god is no definitive measure on how the date will turn out. Whether if it’s going to be romance or disaster but still, it would help a lot.

Here are some tips to help you choose what to wear for that ever-important date. You need to know these things because it just may save you some crucial dollars or else make you realize that you have to lose a few after all.

First you must keep in mind the context. Make sure that what you wear is appropriate for the place, time and type of your date. Are you going somewhere fancy? Or are you just going for a walk in the park or a stroll in the beach? Appropriate the conventions for whatever type of date you’re in.

Second, try to project a genuine image of you. Actually, the clothes aren’t the most important bit, it’s how you carry yourself in them. To be able to do so effectively, you must be comfortable in it. If you change your sense of style to just catch up on what’s famous or “in”. you’ll just put yourself in a position where you’ll always be self-conscious. And trust me, your date will surely notice that.

Third, you might want to think shopping for a new outfit through. If you really want to go for a new look, make sure you have a lot of time in doing so. Don’t rush yourself. It may also help to ask friends or family to gauge how you look so that you’ll know how others perceive you in your new look.

Another thing you might want to look into is to experiment with colors. Nothing too bright though that’s it’s already hurtful to the eyes. I just mean to say that black doesn’t always work. Besides not everyone can pull of bright colors so it’ll be a real confidence boost if you could learn to.

Shirts that make all too obvious statements must also be avoided. Try staying away from those who express hate for the world or inappropriate sexual innuendo. Trust me, you don’t want be saying “I seem to have lost my virginity can I have yours?” to a woman on your first date!

Lastly, no matter what outfit you chose, you must remember to work it! You may be wearing a pair of shoes that are as black as coal or a suit that’s worth half your monthly salary, but it still wouldn’t do you any good if you look and feel awkward in it. So own it!
