REAL Women in looking to get LAID!

November 16

chick magnetOnline dating makes use of personal ads or profiles to bring people who are looking for relationships together. All online dating sites possess this feature. You sing up, for their free online dating services or premium accounts, and then you are given a profile to manage. Through this ad, you can hook up with other online dating site members. Either you could send them a personal message or else they could send you one, if women found your profile interesting.

But will they? Making a woman stop and consider your profile isn’t a walk in the park my friend. It’s more like walking on a tightrope. One mistake, and you’ll fall to the depths of obscurity. So don’t take your profile for granted. Instead, do everything you can to turn it into a chick magnet!

Okay, so if nobody is hitting your profile, then something must be wrong with it. Don’t expect it to change anytime soon without you doing anything about it. Even the best online dating site can only do so much for you. The rest must come from you.

First, your profile may not be giving any woman any reason to stay and view it. This can take on a lot of forms. You’d be surprised how many women complain about this sort of thing when they’re browsing through profiles inside online dating sites.

One “manifestation” is being too self-absorbed. Putting lines like “Find out what I’m all about by sending me a message” or “Want to know me? Send me an IM” are big no-no’s. Look at it from their point of view. Why the hell would she want to get to know you with just that? You didn’t give her something interesting so why would she bother? I mean she doesn’t know you and passing over your own profile won’t seem like she’s going to miss something based on that line alone. In short, you don’t have her hooked. See?

Another evidence of this is the incomprehensive profile. When an online dating site asks for personal descriptions, put some! If you were someone looking for a partner, who would rather choose? The woman whose profile says quite a bit about herself or the one whose profile has three lines most with most of the information answered with “I’ll tell you later”? You see the obviousness of the answer? Well it’s the same thing when it comes to women! Your profile must present a package. No matter how unbelievable witty or bone-crackingly funny those three lines were, it still can’t hold the profile on its own. So don’t register on an online dating site, then immediately sit back and watch the show!

To sum it up, it means that your profile should be the one to take the initiative. Don’t expect women to just take the first step with nothing convincing them to do so.

What you should do is to “talk” to them using your profile. Putting in specifics for example will greatly affect your target. If you write stuff like “I’m looking for a blond, Caucasian about 25-27 years old…”, it’s like you’re directly addressing her. If you say that you like kids and doesn’t mind if she’s a mother then you immediately tell single mothers out there that you’re looking for someone like them. This will make her wonder why you would immediately like someone like her and eventually check your profile out.

Next thing you could do is to describe yourself. This is where online dating sites become cluttered with useless profile…because they don’t know how to describe themselves effectively. The trick is to describe yourself “objectively”. Saying things like “I’m funny, smart and kind” just won’t do. I mean she’ll be thinking along the lines of “Says who?”. Because these things are all relative and subjective. You may think you’re funny because you crack yourself up all the time, but would it be so with her? The answer is that you don’t know.

So in describing yourself, stick with actual facts. Facts the make you interesting. Say things like “I swim six laps a day and deep dive whenever I have the time” or “I love playing basketball, I once shot hoops from the half court four times in a row.” These things may seem trivial, but these are the things that could better tell women if you are interesting enough. If you say the your favorite show is “FRIENDS” for example, she may think that you actually have a good appreciation of humor implicitly. Which is much better that saying I’m a funny guy (Oh really now?) outright.

Last thing that you must remember is to put a photo. No matter how long your profile and how informative, it alone won’t capture a woman’s visual attention. But a photo can. Make sure to pick something that shows your good side. And don’t hesitate to upload photos that can show your sexiness as well. As long as it is still in agreement with the online dating site’s photo policy then it’s okay. Posting a photo without your top off and sporting a ripped bod will tell her you’re sexy. Putting “I’m 25, sexy and captivating” on the other hand, just makes you look like a vain-attention-deprived-egotistical-loser. See the “not so subtle” difference?

So work on that profile! Make it a chick magnet and trust me, your decision to join online dating sites will be the best ones you ever made.
