Truth about aphrodisiacs

Sometimes the key in having an effective relationship doesn’t lie in the art of conversation mastering or sensitivity. Sometimes, it lies on the art of perfect seduction. And what better way to achieve that with a woman than food.

Yes, food is considered to be the best sexual stimulant out there. If men could understand its potency, then no man will ever have any problem concerning sex anymore. To master the art of seduction is to master the art of cuisine as well my friend. Especially in the field of aphrodisiacs.

Aphrodisiacs are food items that have been known to increase sexual drive for both men and women. The first viagras you may say. But the good thing about them is that they’re all natural. Their effects can vary; some were proven to induce heightened sexual drive through appearance alone while others contain chemicals that are known sexual stimulants. And aphrodisiacs have been used since ancient times and is still being utilized by the modern man.

But not all men do so and therein lies the fault. So to help our innocent brothers out there on how to use food to successfully seduce their woman, here are some general facts about aphrodisiacs.

Aphrodisiac derives its origin from the Greek Goddess of Sex and Love, Aphrodite. Actually, aphrodisiacs are not limited to food but sometimes used to refer to different types of sexual stimulants which would include scents, drugs or even toys. But food is the most popular image than people get when they hear the word aphrodisiac.

In seducing your woman, try to include these types of food in your dinner date or to a dinner that you cooked for her yourself. These foods will help ensure that you’ll get more than a goodbye kiss after the date has ended.

First up are chili peppers. Make sure to incorporate something hot in the menu. Spicy foods causes the body to sweat harder and makes the heart pump blood stronger. It is the same reaction that people get when they’re having sex. It’s a perfect mood setter.

For fruits, bananas and apples will do the trick. Besides having a distinctly phallic appearance, bananas also contains chemicals that lifts moods and bring self confidence. Apples on the other hand derives its aphrodisiac-like properties from the fact that it was used it the first story of seduction (Adam, Eve, Snake, Apple get it?).

When it comes to vegetables, carrots, that are shaped like penises as well, are considered effective aphrodisiacs. Tomatoes are also good ones. Puritans (seekers of “purity” during 16-17th century England) referred to them as “love apples”. Ginger on the other hand is proven to increase blood flow to both men and women’s genitalia. Black olives increase the sexual drive of women while green ones increase male virility. So next time, maybe cooking Italian is the best way to go.

For the main course, go with sea foods. Sea foods contain high level of iodine which is crucial for the thyroid gland and vital to our energy level as well. Most popular sea food aphrodisiacs are shrimps and oysters, both for their chemical composition and the images that their shape connotes.

For desserts, nothing beats chocolate. Some people refer to this as the love candy. If you still need further convincing then check out Juliet Binoche in Chocolat my man.

So be creative when seducing your woman. Use these food items when preparing dinner for her or plan to have them when going out. Pretty soon you’re woman’s going to find it pretty hard to keep her hands off of you.
